Doortrail is a product operated by Hubryse LTD ("Hubryse", "Doortrail", "we", "us"). We believe privacy should be the default, not an option. This policy outlines what happens with your data when you create a Doortrail account and use our delivery proof services, and it's split into two parts: data tied to your account and billing (below), and the deliberately minimal data captured by the delivery proof links themselves.
What we collect
We operate on a principle of data minimization. We only collect the location data and media files absolutely necessary to generate your delivery proof link.
GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) strictly at the moment of delivery drop-off.
Photos or videos uploaded by the courier specifically as proof of delivery.
Account & Billing Data
To create a Doortrail account and use paid plans, we collect your name, email address, and authentication details (via Firebase Authentication), along with usage data needed to run the service (saved links, plan/subscription status, and support requests).
We never see or store your full card details. Payments are processed directly by Paystack (Nigeria only) or Polar (every other country, acting as merchant of record). These providers receive the billing information needed to process your payment and may use it for fraud prevention and tax compliance under their own privacy policies.
Delivery Link Privacy
The delivery proof links themselves are a separate, deliberately minimal layer: the rider or courier completing a delivery does not need a Doortrail account, and we don't ask the identity questions below of them specifically. Doortrail is designed to verify the delivery, not the person making it.

Data Storage & Retention
Generated delivery proof links are designed to be temporary or controllable. The data resides on our secure servers only as long as the link is active.
Once a link is revoked by the creator or expires, the associated media and location data are permanently deleted from our active storage.
